The Netherlands have a series of small islands in the far north and although one of them is just something like 1,5 hour from where I live, I had never been to the island of Texel before…
Until this year, when my boyfriend gifted me a weekend getaway there for my birthday. I was so excited to discover this ‘new’ part of Holland and I must say Texel did not dissapoint. It’s such a pretty little island which has lots of beaches, great places to eat and overall a very relaxed vibe. A must visit for everyone from inside and outside the Netherlands.
