I’m so excited to share this one with you. A few weeks ago, I came home from an amazing roadtrip through the Dolomites with Erik, and my dear friends Wianda & Henk. For some years, I had been collecting pictures of the Dolomites on Pinterest, and when I came across a blog last year about this area – I decided to take action. I wrote Wianda a message saying: shall we do this? The for of us? And she said YES. And so we did.
The Dolomites do not disappoint. If you love nature, hiking and adventure, please consider the Dolomites for your next trip. The area is just amazing. So so beautiful. We stayed in Ortisei and Cortina d’Ampezzo and did all the hikes from there. To sum it up in a few words: a very special roadtrip with the very best people!
I shot the trip on film, and here are my favorite images!
PS: some of the pictures are for sale as prints through this link.
Our first hike at Seceda, near Ortisei
Lago di Carezza
Alpe di Suisi around sunrise (yes, Wianda and I hiked there in the dark ;-))
Hiking at Sella Pass
Eating at San Brite, just outside Cortina d’Ampezzo
Hike 1 around Tre Cime (the symbol and therefore very well known place in the Dolomites)
And our second hike there (around Tre Cime)
Lago di Braies around sunrise
Some of these pictures are for sale as prints through this link.

Hi! what type for film did you use for these shots?
Hi Talitha! I used Fujifilm Pro 400H, unfortunately no longer available. Nowadays I mostly use Kodak Portra 400.
