Photographing for a photographer is always such an honour. Gilcelia found my feed on Instagram and asked me wether I wanted to come over to Antibes, their lovely village in the French Riviera, to do maternity session with her and her love, Guillaume.
Gilcelia moved all the way from the States to France for work, and that’s where she met Guillaume, on the yogamat to be precise. Some time and adventures later, they are now expecting their first child and asked me to capture a moment in this special time for them. And special it was, we walked around the village, got to know each other, and after went to Cap d’antibes for some shots as well. And I mean, just look at them: such a beautiful couple, so in love and in such a beautiful environment – what could you want more as a photographer.
About Antibes: Antibes is a beautiful mediterranean village between Cannes & Nice in the French Riviera. I’ve only visited a few days but really loved it. The surroundings are beautiful, the village is quite lively, although Gilcelia & Guillaume told me that in the winter it gets way more quiet. There a lot of pretty stores and cozy café’s. Simply a very beautiful ánd photogenic place full of artists.
