Palm trees everywhere. A gorgeous and kind couple, guests from all over the world, a bunch of luxurious villas and the amazing backdrop of Las Terrenas for a beautiful, catholic ceremony on the beach and hours and hours of dancing. Yup, Laura & Javi know how to celebrate life and love.
It was a while ago when I received the e-mail from Laura. A wedding planner herself. Engaged to Javi and planning her wedding in the Dominican Republic. I made a happy dance ;-). You see: I love immersing myself into new cultures, and it’s no secret that I love traveling and beaches – so my heart jumped at the opportunity to capture a wedding in Las Terrenas, the Dominican Republic.
A few e-mails and weeks later, Laura, Javi, me and Erik met up in Valencia to get to know each other. They live there, we were visiting the city and so, it was the perfect opportunity to meet each other in real life. And about 8 months later, I captured their wedding. Laura & Javi got married at Los Nomadas in Las Terrenas. They got ready with their friends (be sure check out the pool photos of the guys), got married on the beach and not long after that started dancing until deep into the night, and actually the morning. It’s one of myb longest blogposts ever, but you guys, there was just so much to capture. I hope you enjoy.
To Laura & Javi and all of their guests: thank you so much for your trust and kindness!
